UC Browser is an alternative to Safari for your iPhone, now fully translated into English.
It may not be well known, but UC browser has some neat browsing features you might not have thought of.
At the bottom of the interface there's a menu that brings up a raft on interesting options. Among the highlights, there is a night mode, that dims the browser for more comfortable browsing in the dark, a full screen mode and a quick scrolling button.
The interface is attractive, but not as cute as the more up to date Chinese version. The biggest problem with UC Browser is how it renders websites. Unfortunately, pages almost always look better in Safari, and UC Browser never reaches the speeds of Opera Mini. This is a shame, as additional features in UC Browser could make it a powerful alternative.
UC Browser is feature rich, but falls down when it comes to rendering web pages. File as 'one to watch'!
